Ryô Saeba and Hideyuki Makimura, which forms the duet named City Hunter , is called to solve the case of a boxer who assassinates his adversaries.

Ryô dismantles then a network of slavery, which sells young girls captured in stores. It is on this occasion that it meets for the first time Kaori.

The dust of angel of the fear

Hideyuki then tells in Ryô the history of Kaori: his/her father was killed by the father of Hideyuki, police officer in service. This last then decided to adopt the girl of death. Kaori is unaware of that it is adopted. As it is its birthday, Hideyuki decided to even acknowledge the truth to him the evening, and to give him a ring, only memory of his/her true late father.

But Hideyuki, to have refused to join a trust of drug, is assassinated. He dies in the arms of Ryô while asking him to take care on Kaori. Ryô avenges it, then will join Kaori, requiring of him to flee Tokyo. This one refuses, saying that she wants to make pay, and that Ryô needs a new assistant.

Ryô, which accepted that Kaori becomes its partner, involves it with the shooting. But it appears dangerous with a arme.
Then both deal with moving the businesses of Kaori, which comes to live in the same building as Ryô. But two criminals take as an hostage the passengers of the bus into which they are gotten.

when it meets Kaori, a prostitute tries to persuade this one, taking it for a boy, to have good time. Having carried out her error, the prostitute leaves, and Ryô wonders then how it will announce if a customer is well a man. Appears then the head of Sangoku, manga Dragon Ball, allusion to the problems that this one has to distinguish girls and boys.
at the end of volume, in the bus taken as an hostage, a panel carries the inscription Tenchi Muyo, reference to the manga (nonapparent inscription on the French version).
