The Drinkers
The Drinkers is a Slovenien group of Rock popular in its country and the countries of the ex- Yugoslavia.
Its music is a mixture of influences Rock' roll and Western Hard rock (one finds a wink with Van Halen and Queen on individual the " Chechmate. K"). One finds there more particularly of the references to the German Rock and the group Die Toten Hosen of which it takes again individual the " Zehn kleine Jägermeister" , which becomes " Deset majhnih jagrov" in Slovenien, and the concept of the album of resumptions of Christmas carols version saturated guitars.
The texts are in Slovenien, sometimes in Serbo-Croat. They cover primarily light subjects like alcohol and the rock' roll. The musicians assert their own style besides: the Drink' roll . It is about a music openly festive, based on simple agreements and refrains easy to retain.
