The Dowling Father
the Father Dowling ( Father Dowling Mysteries ) is a Televised series American in a 90 minute old pilot and 43 44 minutes episodes, created by Dean Hargrove and Joel Steiger according to the novels of Ralph McInerny and diffused between the November 30th 1987 and the March 10th 1989 on the network NBC and between the January 4th 1990 and the May 2nd 1991 on the network ABC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the October 22nd 1991 on France 3.
Synopsis
The Dowling Father is priest in the town of Chicago. Of a nature curious and impassioned by the criminal investigations, it regularly assists in its local police. Sister Steve Oskowski, an intrepid nun which grew in the street and which knows of it all the codes and the language, also brings her contest to him.
