Comments

Damiano carried out The Devil in Miss Jones after the unexpected success of Deep Throat in 1972. Because the metaphysical pseudo depth of its scenario and certain scenes of anthology, it is about the one of the rare pornographic films which was sometimes described as “chief of work”. It puts mainly in scene the male hero of deep Throat, Harry Reems, and a new actress, Georgina Spelvin, which thanks to its astonishing service and, in spite of a short career, entered definitively the legend of cinema X.

Its conclusion was sometimes worth with this film to be compared by certain, not without a certain audacity, with the Door - closed of Jean Paul Sartre.

The success of film generated at least six other continuations. However, the majority of the commentators agree to estimate that they are commercial achievements and that the quality of forever found original work.
