the Destiny of a man (Судьбачеловека) is a Russian film of 1959, carried out by Serguei Bondartchouk. The film, inspired of the account of Mikhaïl Cholokhov, evokes the drama of the Second world war in Russia.

Synopsis

A man and a child walk in the countryside. Close to a river, the man tells their tragedy history with a passer by.
