The Datsuns

The Datsuns is an rock group of Cambridge in New Zealand. In 1995, still students, Dolf de Borst (song, low), Phil Buscke (guitar) and Matt Osment (battery) form the group “Trinket”. Christian Livingstone joined them in 1997 as a second guitarist. Together, they gain a contest organized by a local radio then, in 2000, the group renames “The Datsuns”. In August 2000, the first EP, " Super Gyration! " , leaves. In July 2002, after several passages at the time of famous the sessions of John Peel on the English radio Radio operator BBC 1, the group signs on the label V2 and leaves its second disc Outta Sight, Outta Mind produces by the ex Led Zeppelin John Paul Jones.

Since 2006, Matt Osment was replaced by Ben Cole.
