The Czech Year
the Czech Year ( Špalíček ) is a Czech Feature-length film of animation carried out by Jiří Trnka, left in 1947.
Synopsis
The English title ( has Treasury off Fairy-bruise ) evokes the argument well. Through the life of a Czech village, six sequences put in scene the national habits and legends: " Carnaval" , " Printemps" , " The Legend of Holy Procope " , " The Festival foraine" , " Kermesse" and " Bethléem".
Comment
It is the first feature-length film with puppets carried out by Trnka. Intended for the adults, this film made known the realizer in the whole world.
