The Curse off Monkey Island is a Video game of adventure for PC, developed and published by LucasArts and left in 1997.

It is about the third shutter of the series “Monkey Island”, which the preceding episode left in 1992.

History

Lost at sea, Guybrush Threepwood, the hero of the series of the Monkey Island , must once again face its enemy, the pirate LeChuck, this time materialized by an ignited phantom. After having given an engagement ring accidentally voodoo to Elaine Marley, love of its life, which changes it into a statue of solid gold. It will not be long in disappearing, gold is invaluable for the flibustiers… Guybrush must thus raise the magic spell and turn over on the Île with the monkeys to demolish LeChuck, in adventures of most eccentric.

Gameplay

The Curse off Monkey Island is traditional Jeu of adventure in Point-and-to click : the player must point his mouse on elements of the decoration to interact with and start mechanisms to solve enigmas.

Reaction

This shutter is regarded by certain fans as most technically succeeded of the saga of the Monkey Island . Humor is always present there (the fact of having finished the preceding episodes is besides more to seize all the gasoline of it) and the play is technically a success.
