the Cure is a village on the Frontière between France and Switzerland, divided between the Commune Frenchwoman of the Rousses (department of the the Jura), and the Commune Switzerland of Saint-Cergue.

Since 1862 and the Treated of Dappes between the France and the Swiss , the major part of the village is integrated into Switzerland, in exchange of portions of ground in the valley of Dappes. Some houses of the village, which had always been French, became thus partially Swiss. Some are today still in a typical location: crossed by the border, they have a foot in France and the other in Switzerland.
