Synopsis
The action plunges us in 1871 during the Commune of Paris. One follows the adventures of various characters taken in the storms of the events: the Tarpagnan Captain, passed on the side communard and in love with CafConc, Gurnard, former convict in the search of that which he thinks of being the murderer of his daughter, Hippolyte Barthélémy, avid police officer of advance trying to solve its investigation.These characters and their courses are especially a pretext to tell the history of the Commune of Paris, the great hopes which it raised and the terrible repression which fell down on the communards at the time of the bloody Semaine.
