The Council of research in natural science and genious of Canada

The the Council of research in natural science and genius of Canada (CRSNG) (English: Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) ) is an organization of the Canadian Gouvernement which grants purses and subsidies in Scientific research in the field of the Natural science and of the Ingénierie.

The CRSNG was created on May 1st 1978 following the Loi C-26.

  • the Prix Michael-Smith is decreed by the CRSNG at Canadian individuals or organizations which make the promotion of sciences.

  • the Bourses E.W.R. Steacie are given annually to support the career of Scientifique S and exceptional Engineer S which is professors in a university Canadian.

  • the Medal Herzberg decreed annually for the research tasks in natural science or Genius which was characterized by their excellence and their influence.
