Synopsis

Openly referring to the film I confess of Alfred Hitchcock, the history alternates between 1989 and 1952, are the year when Hitchcock made its film to Quebec.

After having studied three years in China, Pierre Lamontagne returns in his birthplace for the funeral of his father. Living the old family apartment, it tries to find Marc, his adoptive and homosexual brother. By a series of flashbacks, in skilful filmic effects, a relation out of mirror between the two times is established. With the Seal of confession of 1952 the secrecy of the Lamontagne family is gleamed on the origins of his/her brother. It is finally the lover of Marc who holds the key of this mystery.

Alfred Hitchock made very short appearances in his films. It is the mayor of Quebec in 1995, Jean-Paul To combine It, which is substituted to him. Renee Hudon, who played child in film of Hitchock and which made career like radio presenter in Quebec, plays her own part in film of Lepage.
