The Community of communes of the country of Limours
The Communauté of communes of the country of Limours ( CCPL ) gathers thirteen communes of the North-West of the the Essonne, for a surface of 110 km ² and a total of 22.513 inhabitants.
This Communauté of communes was created at January 1st 2002, to replace old the District of Limours . It gathers the communes of the Canton of Limours.
Whereas the north of the CCPL is urban, the south remains rural.
The communes of the CCPL are the following ones:
- Boullay-les-Troux
- Briis-under-Forging mills
- Courson-Monteloup
- Fontenay-the-Briis
- Forging mill-the-Baths
- Gometz-the-City
- Janvry
- Molières
- Limours
- Pecqueuse
- Saint-Jean-with-Beauregard
- Saint-Maurice-Montcouronne
- Vaugrigneuse.
