The Community of communes of the area of Chemillé
The Communauté of Communes of the Area of Chemillé is a French inter-commune structure , located in the department of the Maine-et-Loire and the area Pays of the Loire.

History
The Communauté of communes of the Area Chemillé succeeded on January 1st 1994 an association of communes created in 1964, the second set up in Maine-et-Loire. Composed in the beginning of 10 communes, the inter-commune territory grew rich by the adhesion of Room-with-Vihiers at January 1st 2001. It is thus a population of 15.681 inhabitants divided out of 11 communes which profits from the services of the community.
It works in the following fields: fitting-out, economic development, protection and development of the environment, equipment Community in the fields cultural, sporting, social, tourist.
