The Council of the Community, whose the President and the vice-presidents are members, is made up city council men delegated by each common member, according to the following rule:

  • 0 to 500 hab: 1 deputy holder and 1 deputy substitute
  • 501 to 1.000 hab: 2 deputy holders
  • 1.001 to 2.000 hab: 3 deputy holders
  • 2.001 to 2.500 hab: 4 deputy holders
  • 2.501 to 3.500 hab: 5 deputy holders
  • 3.501 to 4.500 hab: 6 deputy holders
  • 4.501 to 5.500 hab: 7 deputy holders
  • 5.501 to 6.500 hab: 8 deputy holders
  • 6.501 to 7.000 hab: 9 deputy holders…
However:
  • the number of titular delegates of the communes of Corbie, Fouilloy and Villers-Bretonneux cannot be lower than 36% of the full number of delegates.
  • the commune of Corbie cannot lay out of a percentage of titular delegates lower than 18%.

The community levies the single professional tax, which replaces the professional taxes that the communes perceived before.
