The Community of communes of the Three Borders (Haut-Rhin)

The community of communes of the Three Borders (known as ComCom 3F) is a French inter-commune structure, located in the Département of Haut-Rhin and the area Alsace. It is located at the border between France, Switzerland (Basle) and Germany (Weil-amndts-Rhein).

The community of communes, whose seat is with Saint-Louis, was created on October 30th, 2000, succeeding a district created in 1974. In 2001 the community of common amalgamated with SIPES (Intercommunity association for the Economic and Social Promotion of the Area of the Three Borders) created in 1960. Currently (2005) the community of common counts 10 common members.

Roland Igersheim, mayor of Hésingue, are president of the Community of communes. The mayors of the 9 other communes are all vice-presidents, as well as the assistants of the mayor of Saint-Louis. Jean-Marie Zoellé and Alain Girny, and the assistant of the mayor of Huningue Luc Grandidier.
