The Community of communes

Chaired by Laurent Beauvais (PS), it gathers eleven communes around Argentan for a population of 20 007 inhabitants.

History

The 1^er January 1994, six communes gathered to form the District of the Nickel silver Country.

NICKEL SILVER - AUNOU THE FALCON - FONTENAI/FLOWERING ASH - JUVIGNY/FLOWERING ASH - SARCEAUX - SEVIGNY

Five other communes joined this public corporation of inter-commune co-operation thereafter (EPIC).

SAI (with the 1^er January 1996) - SAINT RENT OF the FIELDS (with the 1^er January 1996) - MARCEI (with the 1^er January 1997) - SAINT CHRISTOPHE the JAJOLET (with the 1^er January 1997) - BAILLEUL (with the 1^er January 1998)

The CDC is in single Professional tax (TPU) since the 1^er January 2002.
