The Community of communes of the Marandais Country

The Communauté of communes of the Country Marandais is a French inter-commune structure , located in the department of the Charente-Maritime and the area Poitou-Charentes.

Composition

It is made up of the following communes (entirety of the Canton of Marans):
  1. Andilly
  2. Cartwright
  3. Longèves
  4. Marans
  5. Saint-Ouen-in Aunis
  6. Villedoux

    • economic Development action (Support of the industrial activities, commercial or of employment, support of the agricultural activities and forest…) (on a purely obligatory basis)
    • Creation, installation, maintenance and management of zone of industrial activities, commercial, tertiary, artisanal or tourist (on a purely obligatory basis)
    • Tourism (on a purely obligatory basis)
  • Development and social and cultural installation
    • Cultural activities or sociocultural (on a purely optional basis)
    • Sports activities (on a purely optional basis)
    • Construction or installation, maintenance, management of equipment or establishments cultural, sociocultural, socioéducatifs, sportsmen (on a purely optional basis)
  • Environment - waste Collection and processing of the households and waste comparable (on a purely optional basis)
  • Housing and habitat - local Program of the habitat (on a purely optional basis)
  • Medical and social - Social action (on a purely optional basis)

History

  • September 28th, 2006: bearing decree n° 06-3244 modification of the statutes of the community of communes
  • January 13rd, 2006: decree n° 06/295 bearing corrigendum of the decree n° 05-4490 of December 22nd, 2005
  • December 22nd, 2005: bearing decree n° 05-4490 modification of the statutes and extension of competences of the community of communes
  • October 7th, 2003: bearing decree n° 03-3160 modification of the statutes and extension of competence of the community of communes
  • March 9th, 1999: bearing decree n° 99-529 extension of competences of the community of communes
  • December 18th, 1996: bearing decree n° 96-3639 creation of the community of communes
  • October 14th, 1996: decree n° 96-2900 fixing the list of the communes concerned with the creation project of the community of communes
