The community of communes of the Country of the Meteorite is a French inter-commune structure , located in the department of the High-Vienna and the area the Limousin.

History

The meteorite known as '' of Rochechouart '' fell to Pressignac (in Charente) approximately 214 million years ago. Its impact generated a crater of more than 22 kilometers in diameter.
