The Community of communes of the Balloons of the High Vosges and the Source of the Moselle

The community of communes of the Balloons of the High Vosges and the Source of the Moselle is a French inter-commune structure , located in the department of the the Vosges and the area Lorraine.

Composition

It is made up of the following communes:
  1. Bussang, 1.777 hab., 5 deputy holders, 3 substitutes.
  2. the Fresse-on-Moselle, 2.176 hab., 5 deputy holders, 3 substitutes.
  3. the Saint-Maurice-on-Moselle, 1.449 hab., 5 deputy holders, 3 substitutes.

History

The preamble to the statutes announces “ the communes of Bussang, the Fresse-on-Moselle and the Saint-Maurice-on-Moselle found many common points and have similar or complementary needs. Also, they decided to gather, to share part of their respective competences, within the Community of communes in order to create an inter-commune dynamics. This dynamics could make it possible more largely to gather the communes of the Canton of Thillot which would wish it. ” However, the other communes of the canton created since the Community of communes of the Valley of Rupt and Thillot, renamed in March 2007 Communauté of communes of Mynes and the High-Vosges of the south.
