The Community of communes of the Average Valley of Isle

--------------- The Communauté of communes of the Average Valley of Isle is a French inter-commune structure , located in the department of the the Dordogne and the area Aquitaine.

It draws its name from the river which crosses it, the Isle.

History

It was created on December 30th, 1996 with 4 communes (Beaupouyet, Mussidan, Neuvic and Sourzac).

December 3rd, 2002, Mussidan is withdrawn some.

December 30th, 2003, five other communes adhere to it (Beauronne, Douzillac, Saint-Jean-in Ataux, Saint-Severin-Estissac and Vallereuil).

Composition

It gathers the following communes:

  2. Beauronne
  3. Douzillac
  4. Neuvic
  5. Saint-Jean-in Ataux
  6. Saint-Severin-in Estissac
  7. Sourzac
  8. Vallereuil
