the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation was a aeronautical Constructeur Australia N, which was created in 1936 to allow Australia, to produce military aircrafts and engines. The firm specialized in the production under license of foreign planes, but during some time during and after the Second world war, created also original models, like the CA-15 Kangaroo.

In 1985, the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation becomes a subsidiary company of Hawker de Havilland, and was famous Hawker de Havilland Victoria Limited , in 1986. Finally in 2000, it was bought by Boeing.
