Bottlers

In general, Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and its subsidiary companies produces just the concentrate of syrup which is then sold with various bottlers throughout the world and which hold a frankness Coca-Cola. These companies of congestion profit then from an exclusiveness on a given territory, produce the end product out of quill and bottle starting from the mixture of the concentrate and of filtered water. The bottlers market, sell and distribute the Coke products to the stores, vending machines and restaurants.

An exception to this principle, in the United States where TCCC is responsible on line for manufacture, the sale and the distribution of directly near the wholesalers and certain retailers.

This a little single system in the world of agro-alimentary had been applied by Coca-Cola, and its Pepsi main competitor, dice their beginning. Thus as of the Twenties, Coca-Cola counts more 1  000 different bottlers. From the Seventies, Coca Cola begins with internaliser this activity by repurchasing some of its independent bottlers. In 1986, it created Coca-Cola Enterprises and starts to gather there its activities of congestion in North America. But it remains minority by taking only 49  % of the capital. During years 1990, by a series of absorptions and fusions, this company will acquire other activities of congestion in North America and Europe until its current location.
