The British group is with the departure named 1-2-3 . Its first album, Scrapbook , can be regarded as a founding document of the progressive rock'n'roll which will then popularize of the groups like Yes or Genesis .

Such are memories. Such are songs.

It is about a concept album as it became the fashion since the Sgt Peppers of the Beatles. The topic is a “scrapbook”, one of these books where one lines shovel-mixes a quantity with quotations and memories. The plan is the following:

1. Introduction-Scrapbook (initial topic, with a simple accompaniment of dry guitar, which will contrast with the continuation)

2. The Carpenter (is making you has bed): fast rate/rhythm. For which is this bed which the carpenter manufactures, and why?
3. The Colors Cuts Run : lamentation on the wear of the love in a couple
4. I' L Go Girl : continuation of the same topic, but with great reinforcement of polyphonic effects: separation should not frighten. It is it which will allow new meetings.
5. Grandad . Grandfather. A large character who saw some, him too.
6. Ladies And Gentlemen , in the purest tradition of the British speech, which requests the complicity of the audience, on bottom of orchestra
7. Humdrum , interlude of battery and choruses
8. Union Jack , panegyric of an old trade unionist respected and missing
9. Old Man . The time which passes on all things quickly led to the end of a life
10. Waiter, There' S Something In My Soup . Here come time from the reflection on an existence. There is always something which does not go, and we let that obnubilate our existences instead of living.
11. . Scrapbook . Why to have opened the book with the memories? At the time it seemed has good idea/I did not know that sadness was so near . Here summarized on some it pages for what a man lived, or forgot to live.

The album did not have a continuation, or more exactly the following - Watercolour days - had the level of completion neither of quality - nor thus of success - first. The Clouds (except one which remained musician) finished their university careers honourably, and the album remained planted like a kind of stake.

Caution: not to confuse " The Clouds" with " Clouds" (this French group originating in Bugey exists since 1987).
