Summary

In 2045, progress of data processing is such, that it is now possible to entirely safeguard the neuronal configuration of the human brain and to make it evolve/move in a virtual environment.

This technology is used by richest making copies digitized of themselves and becoming immortal.

Only problem: the survival of their copy depends on the computer support. Fortunately Paul Durham, genious data processing specialist, discover that it is possible to realize a virtual universe without material support.
