The Cicada Luc Leblanc
the Cicada Luc Leblanc is a cyclosportive race which proceeds around the town of Lunel. It is jointly organized by the town of Lunel and the Bicycle Lunellois Club under the aegis of the French federation of cycling.
Beginnings
It is in 2002 pennies the impulse of the Mayor of Lunel, and the president of local association cyclist, Christian Andrieux, that the Cicada is born. The purpose of it is to make even discover to redécouvrir with the general public the Lunellois soil. Immediately approximate to sponsor the event, Luc Leblanc launches out in the adventure with 200 voluntary the already committed ones. As of the first edition, the Cicada meets one big hit.
Edition 2007
In 2007 the sixth edition of the race takes place. It is now more than 800 runners which clash at the time of this event.
