Synopsis

An old miller leaves with his three sons the integrality of his goods. The elder one inherits the mill, the junior by the ass, and the youngest child of the cat. Knowing only to make of such a gift, he thinks of eating it. But the cat, with the greatest surprise of its new Master, proves to be gifted of word. Against a bag and a pair of boots and with much of trick, the animal will make pass the young man for a powerful marquis and enable him to marry the princess of the kingdom.
