Synopsis

The Castle of the Olive-trees is the ancestral residence of Laborie de Sauveterre. Located at Châteauneuf-of-Pope, it conceals many mysteries and of the legends. Like each summer, Estelle Laborie will take refuge over there. But this summer, it makes a serious decision: to flee Paris and to settle definitively with the Olive-trees . It is far from imagining that its arrival will awake many dramas and of the secrecies, to start with this enigmatic contractor Pierre Severin which wants to shave the castle to make an amusement park of it, “Cigaleland”. She will learn alas that this Pierre Severin is not other than Marceau, the little boy of the manager of the Castle when his/her father was then the Master of the field. This manager died besides in terrible circumstances.

But Estelle faces this revenge and decides to save the Oliviers with the assistance in particular of the archeologist Raphaël Fauconnier…

Frederique Hébrard joins again with what she likes more: stories of family to the great secrecies. Assisted of Louis Calves, it traces here a tormented and romantic fresco of a family of Provence with heavy last. After the Husband of the ambassador and the Young lady of Avignon , the Castle of the Olive-trees makes us redécouvrir Louis Velle and Frederique Hébrard with enchantment. Brigitte Fossey is remarkable in matriarche on which all misfortunes falls down.
