The Book off Taliesyn is the second album of Deep Purple, left in 1969.

The album follows off the pop-psychedelic sound of Shades Deep Purple ; however, one notices several songs more " hard". That starts to show the new sound that Deep Purple was going to introduce with the album In Rock'n'roll in 1970.
