The Book of the jungle
the Book of the jungle is a book which was written by Rudyard Kipling at the time of a four years stay in the United States. It is probably its most famous work, published in 1894.
Structure of work
The book is a collection of Nouvelle S, of which much (but not all) is located within the framework of the Indian Sous-continent. The work of Kipling was adapted many times to the cinema. It owes in particular its notoriety with the studios Disney which adapted the account in cartoon in 1967, however taking important freedoms compared to the original account.
