Influences of the history of Mowgli

One of the concrete applications of this account can be found in scouting. Indeed the Book of the Jungle constitutes an imaginary framework, a guide and a reference, for the Louvetisme, connects Scoutisme reserved to the older children from 8 to 12 years. The children called wolf cubs, are framed by organizers often borrowing the name of one of the characters of the book (example: Akela, the chief of the wolves; Bagheera, the panther which teaches in Mowgli hunting; Baloo, the bear which teaches the Law of the jungle to the wolf cubs; Chil, the vulture (Milan in the original version); Kaa, the python; Raksha, the mother-she-wolf…). The group forms a pack then.
