The Blue Bird

the blue Bird is a Play in six acts and twelve tables written by Maurice Maeterlinck in 1908.

March 2nd, 1911 with the theater, Réjane gave the first Frenchwoman to the Théâtre Réjane in Paris. The part knew several adaptations to the cinema since 1910.

Summary

A brother and a sister, Tyltyl and Mytyl, poor children of the Logger, look by the window Christmas of the rich children when the fairy Bérylune their request to go to seek the blue Bird to cure his little girl who is sick (she would like to be happy). Through this search, helped by the Light, Tyltyl and Mytyl will find their died grandparents, their little brother not born and many other characters yet still.

The blue Bird also speaks about enemy characters not facilitating the task of the children, such as the She-cat, ready to kill the children to save his life (indeed, once one turned Diamond, animals and elements take life), helped of the Night, the trees and others still.
