The Big family
the Big family was an emission of semi-day diffused on Canal+ and presented by Michel Denisot, then by Jean-Luc Delarue.
Principle of the emission
Around a table, several regular chroniclers approached topics different from the daily life. The first principal presenter was Michel Denisot, which launched Jean-Luc Delarue (it is about a discoverer of talent, since he also put seals Marc-Olivier Fogiel of it). It is Jean-Luc Delarue which becomes, in 1991, the " chef" of the Big family, until in 1994, where, the year of its thirty years, it leaves on France 2.
Michel Field takes the changing, in 1994-1995, one season only, and specializes thereafter in the resumptions of emissions, without much success. It succeeds Anne Sinclair in the political box of Sunday evening with 19:00 during two years, of 1997 to 1999.
During two years, it is a male duet which take the head of the Big family, formed of Alexandre Devoise, already chronicler in the emission, and Philippe Vecchi. Of 1997 with 2002, they presented out of tandem the first part of Nowhere elsewhere , always on Canal +, and succeeded Jerome Bonaldi and its team of chroniclers (Sophie Fontanel, Alix of Saint-Andrew, Frederic Taddéï.), which presented, in 1997-1998.
One of most famous of these chroniclers was the culinary critic Jean-Pierre Coffe which was going to make the markets with a celebrity each week to propose meals of frank percent quality (15 euros).
Miss Agnès held to with it a heading mode at the end of the emission.
Claude Hamos was the chroniqueuse psychiatrist of the emission, and returns regularly like guest of the emissions of Canal+ of the semi-day.
Starting from this emission, the chain developed a short emission then, then a chain of the cable and satellite in favor of employment and professional insertion, Demain!. It was about a heading of the emission, presented by Martine Mauléon, now deceased; she animated the emission in question logically and directed the chain éponyme.
Following the Big family, this time box of the semi-day on Canal+ knew a series of instability. During one year, in 1997-1998, it is thus the team of Jerome Bonaldi who takes again the torch in All is well, to the intermediate tone between the Big family and the first part of Nowhere elsewhere. Then Anne De Petrini and Philippe Gildas takes again the crenel. In 2003-2004, it is Geraldine Carré which takes the changing with a series of chroniclers, among which Marie Montuir and Pierre Mathieu.
From 2004 with the re-entry 2006, Maïtena Biraben animates We are not angels with chroniclers also, in particular Jean-François Kervéan and Daphné Bürki. Since the re-entry 2006, it is Pascale Clark which settles in the box, in a daily version of " In aside " , on line and in the presence of chroniclers at the sides of the guest.
All these emissions had the same convivial tone and of same asepticized decorations, but none truly succeeded in lasting, for lack of audience. It should be noted the longevity of Red-headed Eric with this schedule on this chaïne. If it appeared after Jean-Pierre Coffe in the culinary heading, there remained until December 2005. In January 2006, We are not angels once more changed formula, and it disappeared from this antenna.
