Synopsis

Richard is young American left in Thailand to live an experiment in margin of the tourist tours. It is quickly disappointed to find only Westerners in evil of feelings in the district of the routards of Kaosan. One night, with the hotel, it meets Daffy, an insane man who speaks to him about a legendary and paradisiac island where a community folded up on itself would live, in communion with nature. The following day, Richard discovers the corpse of Daffy, which probably committed suicide after him to have left the chart of the island. Richard convainct a couple of young French, Etienne and Francoise, to accompany it in her search to find the island.
