the Bastards sleep in peace ( Warui yatsu hodo yoku nemuru ) is a Japanese film carried out by Akira Kurosawa, left in 1960.

Synopsis

Whereas is held the ceremony of marriage between his/her daughter and her secretary, the vice Iwabuchi director finds himself in the middle of a media storm on bottom of corruption and faked markets.

Inspirations & Influences

Reinterpretation of the Hamlet of Shakespeare to which it takes again some elements. The scene of opening of the marriage followed by the sequence of the newspaper cuttings inspired to a similar scene seen in the Godfather of Francis Ford Coppola.
