the Bar-sur-Loup is a common French, located in the department of the the Alpes-Maritimes and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure. By Decree of the March 27th 1961, Official journal of April 1st 1961 with effect with the April 2nd 1961, the Bar becomes the Bar-sur-Loup. Its inhabitants is Aubarnais - Aubarnenc in Occitan - or Barois.
Geography
The commune owes its name with the Loup, river coastal which crosses it, and which is thrown in the sea close to Villeneuve-Loubet.

; The church: the carved door is remarkable; inside, one can see a retable of Bréa (XVIe S) to the high altar and statues of XVIIe. In the content of the church, dances macabre on wood of XVe.; The legend: a count of Bar having given a ball in full Lent, the guests fell dead. The macabre dance was painted to commemorate this celestial punishment. One sees there the Death, equipped as an archer, to kill with blows of arrows the dancers. The hearts leaving the mouth of the corpses in the shape of small naked characters are weighed in the balance which holy Michel holds, with the feet of Christ, and are precipitated in the mouth of a monster which represents the entry of the Hell.
