Argument
This film exposes the case of a Belgian village crossed by three borders: the Germany, the Holland, the Belgium. It recalls the universe of the workers, that of the customs officers and that of the defrauders… Henri Storck weaves between all these actors a common intrigue and approaches social and economic topics.
Comment
According to Luc de Heusch, president of the Funds Henri Storck.
- Faithful to the spirit of the cinema of reality, Storck illustrates a series of social problems by taking pretext of the birth of the Benelux. It treats with humor, of the embarrassments of the crossing of frontiers in a Belgian village located at the crossroads of the Germany and Netherlands. He pleads thus in a pleasant way in favor of future the European Union.
For information, the title of this film is a rather subtle contrepetrie.
