The BNP Paribas Workshop

Subsidiary company with 100% of BNP Paribas, the Workshop BNP Paribas is the center of day before and analysis the New technologies. It is attached to the direction of the communication.

History

Created in 1978 per Jean Michel Billaut within the Banking Company, the Workshop is presented like having for vocation to bring to the various components of the company, the ideas of innovation and the lines of evolution of their trades.

This center of day before innovation opens then to the customers, and to the partners of the banking group like with very undertaken or individual.

The Workshop allowed for example the Cetelem, as of the years 1980, and thanks to the association of the techniques of scoring and the minitel, to set up the telematic credit with the Aurore chart.

The Workshop publishes three sites of information - atelier.fr, Asie.atelier.fr and atelier-us.com - centered on the innovation High tech and the uses related to new technologies.

atelier.fr is the historic site of the Workshop, and diffuse of information on the innovation (in the private companies, the administrations and the universities) in France, in Europe and in area MEA (Middle East Africa).
asie.atelier.fr is concerned with uses and follow-up of the actors innovating in China, South Korea and in Japan.
atelier-us.com is the anglophone cell of day before Workshop, in direct catch on the innovations Web of Silicon Valley.

The Workshop is also present on the waves, with the Numerical Workshop , diffused on BFM. Animated by François Sorel, the emission is dedicated to new technologies and the Internet. Take part with the Numerical Workshop Anne Choktsang (Workshop), Jean de Chambure (BNP Paribas), Dominique Piotet (Workshop), and Antoine Lord (BNP Paribas).

Services

The Workshop also has the role of helping the companies to popularize and diffuse their innovations. A cell deals with the organization of conferences and workshops.
