The Auk
The Auk is a quarterly scientific magazine and the official publication of the American Ornithologists' Union (AOU). It appears in an uninterrupted way since 1884. This newspaper offers articles on the anatomy, the behavior and the distribution of the birds. This newspaper is named thus in the honor of the Grand Penguin (in English Great Auk ), symbol of the AOU and now disappeared. The Auk is currently directed by Spencer G. Sealy, of the department of zoology of the University off Manitoba.
