the Archivist of Dublin ( The Dalkey Files ) is a novel of Brian O' Nolan known as Flann O' Brien, published in Ireland in 1964 and translated into French by Patrick Reumaux in 1995.
Summary
This novel is manifestly impossible to summarize. It is held with Dalkey, an Irish small town, and counts among its characters a scientist named De Selby which claims to be able to destroy planet, James Joyce and Saint Augustin.
Reception
The novel gave its name to an American publisher, Dalkey Archive Near, founded in Chicago in 1984, and which republishes ignored masterpieces of the literature.
