the Appear ( Splashes Marriage ) is an American film of Edward Sedgwick left in 1929.
Synopsis
Elmer, a modest person in charge of a trade of dry cleaning, is fascinated and fallen in love with the star from Théâtre Trilby. It will see it with each representation. A misunderstanding leads it to replace an actor of the part and, incidentally, the catastrophes follow one another on scene, but that makes it possible at least Elmer to approach its idol. To make jealous the actor with which it is in love, Lionel, Trilby not completely itself wife Elmer.The agents of Trilby, to save the situation, try to explain the blunder with Elmer but he wants nothing to hear.
Taken in another misunderstanding, Elmer fails on a boat the drift on which also Trilby is which was given up there by Lionel. Pirate S seize the boat and imprison Elmer. This one will eliminate one by gangsters and will save Trilby, which falls thus in love with him.
