The Alps (group)

the Alps is a group of rock'n'roll French created in 1969 by Patrice Moullet.

History

From 1969 with 1982 the group realized more than 500 Concert S and 9 albums 33 T (Philips) with the singer Catherine Ribeiro author of the entirety of the texts, Patrice Moullet signing to it quasi totality of the musics while defining the direction of the musical accompaniment, in particular with its instruments: Cosmophone and Percuphone, which largely took part has to define the “its Alps” during all this period.

Note: In 2005 Francis Campello went up a branch activates “the Alps” for the return to the stage of Catherine Ribeiro, with the resumptions of the best titles of the Seventies as well as signed creations 2005 Catherine Ribeiro for the texts and Patrice Moullet for the musics.

In 2005, the Alps is a musical identity gathering the whole of the musicians, dancers, engineers, scenographers having taken part in the activities of the group.

The activities the Alps 2006 pennies the direction of Patrice Moullet cover various axes around the music: music research, creation of instruments using new technologies, musical creation, creations of spectacles, recordings and mixings sound-video, etc

The Alps is based in the workshop Patrice Moullet with Defense (Paris) and gathers a whole of 30 active people in the various sectors.
