Synopsis

The frozen body of an young woman is discovered by chance in a glacier of the Alps. It is about Lucie Saint-Pierre, disappeared in an air crash in 1919, at the age of twenty-seven years. She is preserved perfectly and… alive! Elected by the ministry for the Interior, professor Mesnard undertakes to reanimate it after “having defrosted it”. But the heart of this young woman born a hundred and eleven years earlier is fragile. Mesnard, which covets the Nobel Prize and hopes to obtain it by studying Lucie, decides to spare it at all costs. In order to avoid a too brutal alarm clock to him, he recommends to transport it to the castle of Bonan, the field of the Saint-Pierre, to which Lucie is related. These nobliaux desilvered holds a mitigated reception for him, because it is from now on the direct heiress of the field. But each one business to be recreated the decoration that Lucie left, here more than eighty years, before disappearing…
