The 7th Guest

The 7th Guest is a Video game of ventures, developed by Trilobyte left on PC in 1993 on PC, Macintosh and TDCI.

Scenario

So for a long time the manor of manufacturing toys Henry Stauf is uninhabited that nobody remembers it. This residence is abandoned since children faced death there and that six guests went there to return from there never again.

Randomly incursions of the player from one part to another, scenes of this night of horror re-appear and are mèlent with reality. There was to be another guest… Wouldn't Henry Stauff have tightened a diabolic trap? Only the player has the means of putting an end to this nightmare by discovering the secrecy of the seventh guest.

Gameplay

The player is an active and mysterious, known entity only under the name of Ego. Its role, its identity and its raison d'être are not shown but seem to form integral part of the environment of the Stauf manor.

The 7th Guest proposes a system of original menu, in the form of an oracle called " Sphinx" who gathers the function to charge, safeguard and leave.

Displacements and the interactions with the elements of the play are done while clicking on the screen of play with the mouse.
