Comments
- In 1999, English channel ITV created Days Like Thesis, British remake of the series.
-
In 2002, the FOX created a spin-off of the series, called That 80 ' S Show. Only 13 episodes were diffused, for lack of audience.
-
That '70s Show knows, since the beginning of its diffusion, a considerable success in the United States, undoubtedly because of the faithful reconstitution of the time and the nostalgic glance which carries the quadragénaire generation on its youth, before the return to the moral order of the period Reagan. Nothing misses: neither tubes of Led Zeppelin, neither the detonators , neither blow-dries with the Farrah Fawcett, neither the legs of éph , neither furniture kitsch, nor the unexpected success of Star Wars !
-
the name of Fez is the acronym of F oreign E xchange S tudent.
-
When That '70s Show begins (season 1), we are in May 1976 and after eight seasons, one is always in the Seventies. Why? quite simply because, with the fur and measurements of the seasons, the producers decided to slow down the rate/rhythm of the series. Thus, the series is located in 1977 of the middle of the first season until the end of the third season, then in 1978 until the end of the sixth season. Hyde celebrates its 18 years in 1978 although it is supposed being older than Eric who celebrates his 17 years at the time of the second episode (located in 1976). Eric celebrates his 18 years in 1978, two years after having celebrated his 17 years… These factors, compounds with the episodes dedicated to the festivals of end of the year (Thanksgiving, Christmas) which is held each year, show that the value of time in That '70s Show is not exact. Lastly, the last season (season 8) is vaguely located in 1979.
-
the last but one episode of the series, Leaving Home Aint Easy , is a special retrospective episode to pay homage to the series and its eight years with the antenna, one of the longest series of the FOX. This special episode, one duration of almost 90 minutes (publicities included) is named That '70s Show: Final The Goodbye and is composed of memorable clips resulting from the 200 episodes of the series, of new scenes cut to the assembly, but also of interviews of the actors, the team of turning and Guest star S like Luke Wilson, Brooke Shields, Lindsay Lohan, Roger Daltrey and Bruce Willis. Lastly, this special episode also proposes to slip into the slides of the turning of the last week of production.
-
In the eighth season, all the names of excluded episodes " Final The Goodbye" are titles of songs of the group Queen
-
Debra OJ Rupp (Kitty Forman in the American series That '70s Show ) made an appearance in several episodes of the series Friends 3-18 " That which car-hypnotisait" (" The One With The Hypnosis Tape"). She plays there old the teacher of the brother of Phoebe and also her boyfriend whom it plans to marry. Phoebe will try to cancel their marriage because of their great difference in age (it is 18 years old, she 44). She also appears in the episodes:
