That\' S All Right Mama

That' S All Right Mama is a Chanson of Arthur Crudup, whose most famous interpretation is that of Elvis Presley in 1954, published by Sun Records.

The face B of the disc is Blue Moon off Kentucky with the reference Sun 209 .

The duration is of 1 min 55 dryness. It was recorded in July 1954, and was published on July 19th of this same year. It was the second recording of Elvis Presley for Sun; and contrary to a spread idea, it is not this title which Elvis recorded to offer to his mother, but My Happiness and That' S When Your Heartaches Begin , recorded one year before.

On the disc the title is called That' S All Right (without the (Mama) of the original title), and specifies the name of the artists: Elvis Presley, Scotty & Bill.

In 2001, the legendary producer Ahmet Ertegun creates a titrated album: Good Rockin' Tonight: The Legacy Off Sun Records (the band its of documentary the American Masters). Y amongst other things appears Paul McCartney in her version of That' S All Right recorded in New York with the former musicians of Presley Scotty Moore with the guitar and D.J. Fontana with the battery.

This title of legend received Grammy and was named by the magazine Rolling Stone as the disc which began the revolution of the rock'n'roll.

In July 2004, more than 1000 radios celebrated the 50e birthday of the rock'n'roll by playing That' S All Right (Mama) .
