Tha Dogg Pound

Tha Dogg Pound is a duet of Rap American originating in the West coast formed by Kurupt and Daz Dillinger.

Tha Dogg Pound is formed in 1992, It acts of the meeting of Daz and Kurupt, both protected from Snoop Dogg.

The group makes its beginning on the traditional one of Dr. DRE, The Chronic . They also make an appearance in the traditional one of Snoop, Doggystyle , and signs the BO of the films Murder Was The Case and Above The Rim .

Their first album solo fustigated by its sexual allusions and its coarse language Dogg Food , leaves into 1995 sold to 3 million specimens, As Snoop Doggy Dogg (Snoop Dogg) is cousin of Daz, he poses on the 3/4 of the album and confirms its style gangsta which one had been able to notice on his own solo i.e. of the lyrics gangsta, a particulié flow which can at the same time grate or sing refrains. They will not leave other albums in the Années 1990 but they remained very active in featurings, like their participation in legendary the All Eyez One Me of 2Pac.

Both comparses try a career solo, and wish to leave the Death Row Records, Kurupt signs at Antra Records, and Daz creates its label D.P.G. Records. They leave in 2000 Dillinger & Young Gotti, an album succeeds but which misses guests. After their respective excursions in solo, Daz and Kurupt reform the group under the name of D.P.G. (Dogg Pound Gangsta) because the name Tha Dogg Pound remains the property of Death Row Records, D.P.G belongs from now on to Doggystyle Records, the label of Snoop Dogg. Only with the beginning of the year 2002, Kurupt created the feeling on the West Coast while turning over to Death Row Records, thus putting at back all clan DPGC and throwing to water the project of album which it was to make with Daz at Doggy Style Records.

In 2003 a clash between the two assistants makes say to Kurupt that Daz had betrayed it. Kurupt signs again at Death Row Records in 2004 and awaits the exit of its album " Against Tha Grain". Daz always at DPG records leaves " Dogg Pound Gangsta LP" in 2005. But in April 2005 with the conference West Coast chaired by Snoop Dogg, Kurupt and Daz reconcile and record the evening even their new individual " Push Bacc".

One waits in 2005 two new albums. The first at D.P.G.C and the second with Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Soopafly, Warren G, Bad Azz, and Tray Dee.
