Thézan-of-Corbières

Thézan-of-Corbières the is a common French, located in the department of the Aude and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.

Its inhabitants is called Thézanais.

History

Origins

When there is more than 2000 years the Romains colonize the area, they do not meet a Gaulois in our plains. The local population is mainly made up of Elysiques and Ibères come from the south. One cultivates the olive-tree and the vine there, but it is with the honey of our scrubland, considered by the Romans as the best of the Empire, than will owe us our fame. Gomezinde

Towards 790, Gomezinde, noble Spanish of origin wisigothe and companion of Charlemagne, east invests by this last on the grounds of Donos . Churches
