Théophile Gautier wire
Theophilus Charles Marie Gautier , born the November 29th 1836 and dead the June 16th 1904, is a man of letters, translator and administrator French, wire of the writer Théophile Gautier and his mistress Eugenie Fort.
He was sub-prefect of Ambert (Puy-de-Dôme) in 1867 and of Pontoise in 1870, chief of the Press Office to the ministry for the Interior in 1868, then private secretary of the former minister of Napoleon III, Eugene Rouher.
He made translations of German authors and collaborated in work his father in the Moniteur and the Official journal .
