Théoger of Metz
Théoger of Metz (or Théotger or Dietger ), born towards 1050, died in 1120, was bishop of Metz.
Between 1069 and 1091, he attends the Abbaye of Hirsau, directed by Wilhelm. In 1088, he is abbot of the abbey Saint-Georges with Willingen.
In 1117, it is named bishop Metz to replace the schismatic bishop Adalbéron IV, dislocated at the time of the synod of Rheims of 1115. The Metz-native middle-class men refusing the entry in the city to him, it will not be able to take possession of its seat.
He died in the Abbaye of Cluny in 1120.
